I am very much impressed with the way you have imbued each of these with a distinct atmosphere--the somberness of post-War Soviet Union, happy fun times on the gay club scene, and alien weirdness[*] in this scifi one. Good stuff!

[*] I'm referring to the tone of Akiyama's narration, not the facts of whatever-the-heck Sam is.
