Yeah, I don't mind the dynamic either especially as the women are hot and kick-ass - and it's not too far off for a lot of professional women I know. It reflects changing times in stereotypical form, which is what mainstream popular culture should do. *pets it* What's a bit more worrying is the lack of alternatives (apart from the perennial bimbos).
Also, the dynamic isn't so different in male/male buddy cop shows, when you think about it....
