Cornelius' history lesson was fascinating and Merlin being the distillation of all that magic makes sense. His power would be a war winning weapon for either side. The animated building bits were well drawn and very creepy and you created incredible tension in Cornelius leeching Merlin's magic and Arthur fending off the masonry. When that police car arrived, I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding.
The policeman turning out to be an ally was delightful and I enjoyed getting that backstory on Lancelot and Arthur and Merlin being hilariously pissy about running into one of Arthur's exes and how that proves there are probably millions of them laying in wait for the two of them. Their conversation had me giggling and then Merlin catching his boyfriend kissing Gwen made me laugh out loud. Merlin's right, turboslut seems an apt nickname for Arthur!
