Hey, wandered over from your E4 fic posted on saiyuki.

Brilliantly funny, these cracked me up. Especially Kou! Poor Kou... I think I may have to grab those two just for that reason: discussions with my housemate about Kougaiji almost always end with sympathetic sighs and declarations of "Poor Kou..." which he'd resent with a passion, of course. I'll have to make it up to him someday. ~_^

Heee, thanks! I have a soft spot for Kou. He's marginally better off in the manga, but in anime he seems to be constantly limping away to lick his wounds, while snarling: "NEXT time I'll absolutely totally defeat you without fail! Next time!" *snuggles Kou*

I tend to tease about this in my fics. He doesn't limp away or anything, but I like having this exchange [or one like it]...

Goku grinned, "Aren't you going to say your line?"

Kou turned and narrowed his eyes.

"You're line."

"My line?"

Goku nodded and laughed, "That next time your going to get the sutra."

Kou slowly turned his wrist and offered Goku a single fingered wave good-bye. [yes, I know OOC, but I couldn't resist.]

Goku waved a hand in the air, "We know. Leave already."

Kou gritted his teeth.

Sanzo shook his head, "Next time ... the sutra... won't go easy. Tch. You're boring me."

Hakkai smiled, "It's nice to know some things are consistent. Take care Miss Yaone."

Gojyo elbowed Hakkai, "You so have a thing for her."

Hakkai elbowed back, "I do not."

Goku nodded, "You do. It shows."

Sanzo sighed, "Am I the only one that sees us as foes?"

LOL!

And that's one of the many things I love about Saiyuki.
