It's absoluetly gorgeous. It's painful in the most beautiful way and full of love and hope. It makes you feel for the characters and right there with them, and the imagery is so perfect, vivid and enchanting.
The Legend of Hungry Jess Thimbleton byhibem. Saiyuki reinc (links to part 2, The Bride of Chief Iron Rod; part 1 linked there).
Glouriously cracktastic crack set in Wild West and masterfully styled. Hilarious, hot and adorable, and there is much more coming soon. Chief Iron Rod is so crazy and loveable, and - well, just read the cast list. And marvel at all the tildas and capitals. And tune in next week for part 3.
So, during the holidays we went to Venice, saw innumerable episodes of Stargate: SG1 and almost all of Stargate: Atlantis. Let me just take a moment to say that SGA rocks hardcore. Rodney! Sheppard! Weir! And Ronon's pants are so held together by lacings at least in one episode. And the way the end episodes. I see now the seeds of that trick in SG1, but here they really take it places.
Am playing FF7 like a happy, creeped out zombie. I have no idea how do they achieve it with seriously limited means, but they do it. They make me gasp and shiver and scream at the screen - and the charas look like the lego people and barely have faces! So cool. I feel the need to squee about it in details.
Wonderful, sweet Helen sent me the episodes of Slayers Next I was missing, so I can finally finish the season and then watch the thrid and then, then I'll be able to read fanfiiic!! We still have tons of Stargate left to go through first...
But ficwriting-wise I still just want to write more Saiyuki fics. One day, I'm sure, I'll be able to stop with the 58 mushy porn, but that day has not come yet. Gingerbread Castle needs just five more chapters, and Little Brother is all outlined and has couple thousand words of drafts already, and I really hope to co-write a cool bunnyhibem has. That's not counting the Austing, TX reinc-verse. But first I need to finish my Russian WK megafic. 12 chapters down. Only took a year. 8 chapters to go - that's about 50 pages... *headdesks*
