Despite their professionalism, reputation and stellar track record, they just have no luck with the money. It doesn’t matter, though, because they don’t really need much. They have everything: car, home, clothes (okay, one outfit each, but they look cool). Ban bleaches Ginji’s hair himself: once a month, in Honky-Tonk’s bathroom. That saves quite a bit. Paul, regardless of what he says, will always feed them when they are really desperate. The only things they do need cash for are petrol, Ban’s cigarettes and, of course, condoms. The condoms are a necessity: Ban hates getting accidentally zapped in certain places.
