Announcement
Apr. 27th, 2005 02:03 pmI'm going away for a week. I'm so behind on my reading and commenting, but I'll definitely catch up with all my favourite writers *waves* once I'm back. In the meantime, please write more? Please please? *makes puppy eyes to certain people*
I'm going to do this thing everybody's doing, right now, so you have a week to decide if you want anything.
Everyone on your flist gets to request a drabble from you. In return, they have to post this in their journal. Post all fandoms you're willing to write for. Your friends can pick a relationship, a story arc, a missing scene, or pretty much anything they want, unless the author has previously mentioned that they will not write it. They comment with what they want, and you write drabbles and post it in your LiveJournal.
Fandoms: Saiyuki, WK, Getbackers, Trigun, FMA, Samurai Champloo, BtVS/Angel, and all the stuff you know I've seen/read and can't remember at the moment. Anything goes. I love a challenge! (If I can rise up to it is a completely different matter.) You don't have to be friended by me to make requests.
runefallstar hypnotised me into joining
slashtheslasher. Who else wants to play? Come on, it will be fun!
Samurai Champloo rocks my socks off. I was bouncing on my couch from the opening alone, and was completely in love by the time first closing credits started rolling. Well, my soul belonged to Cowboy Bebop since ever, and this is the same kind of magic. Except it's less wistful, more fast and loose, and with more fanservise. By which I mean slashy hints and gratuitous male nudity, of course. And the action is even better. Yes it is. The fights make me hold my breath, and every time Jin and Mugen fight together/each other, it's completely unreal. The art is perfect, the charas are amazing, the music is lovely, and the UST is through the roof. And it's a roadtrip. With swords. What can possibly top that? Fansubs are all over the place, DVDs are out, I think, and it starts on Adult Swim very soon. Check it out.
Man, a week... I'm going to have a withdrawal... *hugs*

A Saiyuki drabble with Gojyo/Hakkai,

Date: 2005-04-27 08:17 am (UTC)Okay, there might be not that many ways of writing them, but still. Plus I was doing the reinc, which does not require plot devices for anyone to actually meet. Wow.
*tries to disentangle brain. decides she likes it like that*
Will drabble a different take! *excited*
